Welcome to Jil Cris Enchanter Collies...
nestled in the rolling hills of scenic Warren County New Jersey.
Jil-Cris Collies was started by Joseph Koehler in the early 1970's. Joe started showing collies which quickly developed into a lifelong passion. Joe went on to breed a Collie Club of America Best of Breed Winner, Champion Jil Cris Liberty Legend in 1989. He is also an AKC licensed Collie, Sheltie, and Junior showmanship Judge. He has judged throughout the country and internationally as well. Also judging at the Collie Club of America. Joe continues to pass on his experience to the future generations.
Joanne Malone-Koehler started Enchanter collies in the late 1970's. Joanne is best known for her Champion Enchanter's Standing Ovation, CD, HC. She is active in confirmation and obedience. Joanne has also bred dogs who have attained the high in trial award in obedience. She has also bred many American and Canadian Champions as well as a Best of Opposite winner at the very prestigious Westminster KC Show. Joanne has also been and continues to be a very knowledgeable mentor to many in the collie world.
Our lives were joined together in 1997. Our kennels have blended well, each contributing attributes to one anothers line. Jil Cris - Enchanter Collies is now one kennel working together to produce high quality dogs for over 40 years. We have produced more then 40 American and Canadian Champions/ Grand Champions.
